Spiders invade teen's room in Australia
A teenage girl in Australia called her mom up to her bedroom and told her that they had a spider problem. Actually it was a big problem with big spiders all over her bedroom walls. In Australia, which has a warm and dry climate like the American southwest, spiders and other insects grow quite large and some are highly venomous. The spiders in the picture are called huntsman spiders. They grow to be quite large and hunt insects rather than catch them in webs. Huntsman spiders can be dangerous and do have a moderately venomous bite. However they usually don't bite humans but do eat each other. The spider hatchlings are very canibalistic and usually eat many of each other after hatching. In this case the spiders did not harm the girl or her mom and eventually leave the house and find new homes outside. These spiders were pretty small but after they start eating each other the surviving ones grow larger!
Question: Would you freak out if you found these spiders in your room?
