enjoying the cold weather yet?

 Frigid temperatures grip Northern Illinois

The Chicago lakefront on Sunday

How have you enjoyed the frigid weather this last weekend? Were you able to go out or did you just stay inside and avoid the cold? It is the coldest weather so far this year and as it stretches on into next week, it may be the longest stretch of extremely cold weather we've had in years. After the significant snow we had last week, now come the cold temperatures.

As you can see in the weather map above, we are in for a very chilly period of time, about 15 degrees below normal. But don't get depressed, spring may be around the corner soon!

Keep warm and stay safe as you do your school work and have fun outside!
