What's happening in the election so far?

Who will be our next president? What's happening now in terms of the election?



Tomorrow evening is the first big debate between the Republican President Donald Trump and his opponent in this November's election, Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate. This debate may end up being pretty unpleasant because of the strong feelings on both sides, and because President Trump expresses himself very directly. 

As you may know, the antagonism between Democrats and Republicans is very strong in this election. Along with the protests and the Covid 19 pandemic, this will probably be a very divisive election season. It will be interesting to watch but at the same time it will probably be ugly at times. 

However as high school students it is good to pay attention to the developments in order to educate yourself about our government and our society.
