Can we get back to normal yet?

 Vaccine almost ready!

Finally there is some good news regarding the Covid 19 pandemic. The pharmaceutical company Pfizer has developed a vaccine that appears to be 90% effective, which is a very good number. According to doctors Pfizer's vaccine will have to go through a two month review process to ensure that it is safe. In addition, it needs to be stored at very cold temperatures, which makes distribution more tricky.  However measures are being put into place to make sure that safe distribution can occur once the vaccine is ready. Initially people who are at most risk will receive the vaccine, with the rest of us scheduled to receive it later. President elect Biden has stated all people will receive the vaccine as soon as safely possible and it will be free.  The time frame for distribution means that we will probably be able to be vaccinated in the Spring. This is all great news for the entire world. There are also other vaccines being developed as well, so it looks like there will certainly be a vaccine ready after the winter holidays at some point, maybe by spring break.
