Too many lights?

Giant Buffalo Grove Christmas lights display brings crowds and problems

A few weeks ago Elizabeth Storozhuk, a 12 year old girl living in Buffalo Grove, Il, asked her dad if they could go big for Christmas decorations this year. Her dad agreed to please his daughter, but Elizabeth had no idea just how big her dad was willing to go with the decorations. The decorations on the Storozhuk home are so extensive and bright, including flashing lights and music, that crowds are driving through the neighborhood to look at it.  This has caused some tension with the city government and police which asked Mr. Storozhuk to buy a special permit due to the traffic. They also threatened to shut the display down if the electric bill gets higher. Mr. Strozhuk paid for the permit because as he said, he simply wants to make people happy this holiday season.  A very worthy goal!

Question: When you have your own home in the future will you decorate your house or apartment for the holidays?
