Ding dong the virus is dead

Giant Halloween Party in Wuhan, China, where the virus originated

Wuhan is the city in central China where the covid 19 virus originated from last Spring. Since then of course, the entire world has experienced this terrible pandemic. Luckily for Wuhan and for China as a whole the virus there has been largely contained there, with only 47 new cases reported in one day for the entire country of China. In the United States and in Europe however, the pandemic is returning in a second wave. 90,000 news cases were recently reported in the U.S. in one day. Meanwhile Wuhan has become a tourist spot in China and is hosting a large Halloween party in the Happy Valley Amusement Park. Thousands of pirates, mummies and zombie nurses have descended upon Wuhan to celebrate Halloween. Hopefully all of us will be back to a normal Halloween by next year. Meanwhile we can enjoy this year's holiday in the safest and most fun way we can, even in the middle of the pandemic.

Have a safe and fun Halloween!
